Terms and conditions
The terms, in plain English.
Draft for review. This page is not in effect until Noah and an attorney have approved it.
These terms cover this website and the services sold on it by Intrepid Sales Co., a business name of Goodman Enterprises, based in Oregon. A signed agreement, if we have one with you, takes priority over this page.

Website builds
- Price. Each build has a flat price, shown on the web builds page and confirmed with you before any charge.
- What we need from you. Your photos, your colors and your answers to our questions. The build starts when we have them.
- Revisions. The Siren includes two rounds of changes from you, The Nautilus three, and The Trident five. A round is one list of changes sent at one time. Further rounds are $99 each.
- How it is built. Builds are made with AI tools and edited by a person. See our AI policy.
Monthly hosting
- Hosting is billed monthly, starting the day your site goes live, at the rate for your build.
- It covers hosting, security certificate, domain connection and backups.
- You can cancel at any time by email. Hosting runs to the end of the month already paid for.
Changes after launch
- Monthly round, $29 a month. One round of small changes each month, done on our scheduled update day.
- One-off round, $49. A round of small changes without a subscription, done on the next update day.
- Unscheduled change, $99. A change needed before update day, or one that needs a call.
- Everything else, $149 an hour. New pages, sections, forms and larger work, with a one hour minimum. You get an estimate first.
Jobber consulting
Consulting is billed by the hour: $249 for the first hour and $149 for each hour after. You get an estimate of hours before work starts. Questions sent through the website form are answered by email at no charge.
The Machine
- DIY guide, $39. A one-time purchase. Buying it also makes you eligible for a free call.
- Full course, $249 once, then $199 a month. The $249 buys the course workbook. The $199 a month is a membership, and what it buys is access to our team, not the workbook. Membership includes 10 emailed back-and-forths a month with our team, 3 quote buildouts (further ones are $49 each), and one 30-minute coaching call, which we hold once you reach a set point in your workbook. A back-and-forth is one question from you and one answer from us. Unused ones do not carry over. Implementation takes at least 3 months, and in practice 4 to 6.
- Cancelling and restarting. The membership runs until you cancel it. When you cancel, your access to our team ends: no emailed questions, quote buildouts or coaching call. Your workbook stays yours to read, but it is locked as it stands and cannot be changed. You can restart at any time by resuming the monthly, with no fee to rejoin, and your workbook unlocks again.
- Hands-on work. If you want us to do the work rather than tell you how, that is billed by the hour at our consulting rate.
- Full consult, $5,000 a month. A consulting buildout, typically 3 to 4 months. We work with one company at a time.
Payment and refunds
- Payment is taken by card through our payment processor.
- The build price is due before work starts. Once the build has started it is not refundable, because the work is done for you specifically.
- If we cannot deliver what we agreed, we will refund what you paid for the part we did not deliver.
Your content
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the photos, logos, words and reviews you give us. You are responsible for the claims your site makes about your business, including licenses and insurance.
Who owns the website
Your content stays yours. The site runs on our standard template and tools, which stay ours. While you pay for hosting, the site is yours to use. If you cancel, we will give you your own content back on request.
What we do not promise
We build sites to be found and to bring in work, but we cannot promise a search ranking, a number of leads or an amount of revenue. Those depend on things outside our control.
Limits
This website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any service is limited to what you paid us for that service in the three months before the claim.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions go through our contact form.
