Tools we use

The short list of tools we'd buy again.

Every company here is one we use ourselves or set up for clients. No directory of two hundred apps. If it is on this page, it earned its spot by making a trades company easier to run or easier to sell.

Straight talk

Some links on this page are affiliate links, marked with an Affiliate tag. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. We only list tools we use, and we would list them with or without the commission.

Run the jobs

Jobber

Quoting, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and client follow-up.

Affiliate

It is the field service platform we set up most and the one we run sales out of. The quote follow-ups, recurring jobs, and client hub do real work once they are configured properly, and the mobile app is one techs will actually use.

Money and books

QuickBooks Online

Bookkeeping, payroll, and the numbers your accountant and your lender want to see.

Every bookkeeper knows it, it syncs with Jobber so invoices and payments land without retyping, and clean books are what make a trades company sellable. Set the sync up once, correctly, and leave it alone.

Print and brand

UPrinting

Business cards, door hangers, leave-behinds, yard signs, and vendor packets.

Property managers still keep a folder. A printed capabilities sheet and a clean card in that folder get you called when the current vendor slips. Good print quality, fair prices on short runs, and the turnaround is dependable.

Ask what we'd use for it

If you are weighing a tool that is not here, email kraken@intrepidsalesco.com. We will tell you what we have seen work in a trades company your size, even if the answer is a spreadsheet.

Tools are only as good as the setup

Most of what is on this page fails the same way: half configured and nobody trained. That is the part we do.
